Mark N.D. Lehmann was born in 1973 in Lübben/Spreewald, Germany. Initially a culinary chef by profession, his interest in music led him to branch out, becoming involved in the music industry in the mid-1990’s. In 1999, at
that time working as a product manager, he began studying ‘business communication’. The study of multi-sensory communication then led him to the field of audio branding. The voice, within the context of brand communication, caught his special interest. His book „Voice Branding“ is an in-depth analysis of the voice in brand communication in Germany. Lehmann resides in Berlin and works as a consultant, advising agencies and companies on audio branding. He is vis-iting professor at the Berlin University of the Arts and teaches in the Department of Sound Studies.
