Raffaseder, Hannes

Hannes Raffaseder was born in Freistadt 1970, lives in Vienna. Hannes studied Communication Engineering at the Technical University and Computer Music at the University of Music in Vienna. He is head of the Institute of Media Production at the University of Applied Sciences in Sankt Poelten, Austria. His book ‘Audiodesign‘ is published by Carl Hanser\ Verlag, Munich. He is artistic director of the Komponistenforum Mittersill (kofomi.com), Klangturm St. Pölten (klangturm.at) and einklangrecords.com.
He was involved in the research project allthatsounds.com and published several papers focusing on function, effect and mean-ing of sound and music in media. He has won several awards and comissions.
Some of his works are recorded on CD, broadcasted and published by Musikverlag Doblinger, Vienna.
